Your Questions About Driving Video Games 2010

Linda asks…
I lost a good friend - how can I get through this?
I just can't deal with this.
I found out recently (on Friday) that my friend Tom passed away...he was hit by a car while riding his bike to a party. It actually happened back on February 19. I had just seen him the day before, on February 18. But I hadn't talked to him since then. For 3 weeks, I kept trying to call his cell phone and it just kept going to his voice mail. I never thought anything had happened to him. He had a bad home life, and he used to roam around a lot. He would stay with different friends every night, just so he wouldn't have to go home. At first, I wasn't worried because he had left his phone at a friend's house before. So I just thought the battery ran out or he forgot his phone somewhere. I never thought that anything had happened to him. But I became more concerned as time went on. I was about to start looking for his friends to see if anyone had heard from him.
I only found out because I decided to look on his MySpace page to see if anyone had asked about him. I started looking through his friends list and I noticed someone had posted a picture of him, saying "RIP Tom 1990-2010."
THAT is how I found out. I had no idea. It's something I'll never forget for the rest of my life. The last time I saw him was when I dropped him off at his brother's house on February 18th. It might have even been on the 19th. When I left, we had made plans to hang out again later that week. But I just never saw him again.
I had only know him for about 5 months, but we became very close friends. There was a big age difference between us...I'm 32 and he was 19. But that didn't matter. He was like my little brother. He was always over at my house and we hung out all the time. I'm into photography, and he often went with me when I went out to take landscape photos. He had a great imagination, and he loved to draw. He took a notebook with him everywhere he went. Often when he went with me while I was taking landscape photos, he would draw.
I was already going through kind of a hard time in my life. I was having problems with depression. Tom tried to help me. We always used to talk and he would try to give me advice. There was just something so different about him.
We used to hang out all the time. We were always on the computer, just watching stuff on YouTube or playing video games.
I can't deal with this. I just can't get through this. I keep looking at his phone number and I want to call him, but I know he will never answer. I'm sitting here at the computer, and I just keep thinking he should be here right now.
This is my friend Tom...

What can I do?
Sometimes I think I'm going to be okay and I can get through this, but then other times I just keep seeing him and I just wish I could shake hands with him one more time and talk to him one more time. Then I start crying my eyes out.
Also...is it okay if I still talk to him sometimes? Sometimes, when I'm driving somewhere or just by myself, I find myself talking to him as if he is still there. I know he's not here...but I just feel like he should be.
admin answers:
It seriously broke my heart reading this. I'm very sorry for your loss. But understand, that death is a part of life, even when it does come way before it should. Life often throw obstacles our way, obstacles so big that we cannot believe they happened, and we have no clue how to react, let alone how to cope with the loss.
I would say, yes, it is okay that you talk to him. He still lives in your heart, and he means a lot to you. Take this one day at a time, don't be hard on yourself. Take however much time you need to think about him, and then slowly, allow yourself to process that he is not coming back. I just recently found out about the death of a girl I knew in high school, so I understand what you are going through. Also, take some time to do things you enjoy, this will also take your mind off of the grief you are feeling. The relief will likely be temporary, but it still helps. Writing your feelings in a journal helps a lot as well.
Give it time, and if there is someone close to you who you can speak to about your feelings, do it. It really helps. Seeing a counselor helps a lot too. Good luck, and I wish you the best. Take care.
If anyone has time, answer mine please? Thanks!

admin answers:
Should do.
That is a good computer with good specs.
I would say though that the ram and graphics card should be upgraded for BEST performance.
If you do not care that much about graphics, then just play with medium graphics (open game > settings > graphics options)

admin answers:
I believe you are asking "Can this laptop play games like MW2 and AC2 well...?"
Which the answer would be, yes. At least I would believe so. Only problem you might (emphasis on "might") have is with processor speed, though it is a laptop, so good luck finding much better. Not sure what that Turbo mode is, but if it is anything like overclocking, I wouldn't touch it for a laptop.
Might have to slightly turn down a setting or two, but yeah, you should be swell.

David asks…
Can my PC Support These Video Games?
Hi. Recently, I have been more interested into PC gaming and I am looking to bolster my gaming library. I wish to buy the games Homefront, Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Mass Effect, Crysis (1st one), & Medal of Honor (2010) but I am worried that my laptop will be unable to handle these games. The laptop I am currently using is the Toshiba Satellite L655. Here are its specs:
Processor 2.1GHz Intel Core i3-2310M
Memory 4GB, 667MHz DDR3
Hard drive 500GB 5,400rpm
Chipset Intel HM65
Graphics Intel HD 3000
Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
Dimensions (WD) 15.0 x 9.8 inches
Height 1.2 - 1.5 inches
Screen size (diagonal) 15.6 inches
System weight / Weight with AC adapter5.6/6.3 pounds
I have used the site, Can You Run It? to see if which games my laptop can handle, but I have found it to be hard to determine w/, as a lot of games that it had classified as a "fail" (meaning that my laptop CANNOT handle the game) ended up working perfectly on my laptop w/ very minimal lag & passable graphics (Ex. Combat Arms)
I would really appreciate it if you answered my question, as I am new to PC gaming, and hardly know a thing when it comes to this. Thanks!
admin answers:
You may be able to run all of them on low settings but Intel cards aren't designed for gaming so don't expect too much performance out of it.

•Army of Two
•Resident Evil 5

•Madden NFL 2010
How much do you think I should start the starting bid at? How much do you think I will get out of this?
admin answers:
Grand Theft Auto IV is the best video game EVER!!! I am 41 years old and have played a lot of video games and this one is by far the most enjoyable! If you are offended easily by cursing, then you may not like this game. This game has it all....driving cars, boats, motorcycles, helicopters...dating, hanging out with a friend at a strip club (and getting lap dances), going to shows, out to eat, pool, bowling, darts, video game (within the video game), and of course plenty of missions to accomplish which often involve car chases and shooting.

Your Questions About Ps3 Jailbreak

Susan asks…
ps3 jailbreak ?????????????????
hey guys if i jailbreak my ps3 THEN update to 4.32 does it remove the jailbreak ??
admin answers:
Hi -- Yes, updating to the Playstation 3 firmware 4.32 will remove the Jailbreak. Staying with the 4.31 firmware will not allow you to sign onto the PSN as you might get banned if Sony detects the jailbreak. It's your call. I'm personally staying off PSN for now to enjoy the jailbreak.

Betty asks…
What is the function of the ps3 jailbreak?
Can someone tell me what the ps3 jailbreak can do?
-can it play games online?
-can it play games that is not the original game?
-what is the benefits of the jailbreak?
admin answers:
You can't play online because the jailbreak device requries 3.41 firmware. Custom firmware needs 3.55 but that's still too old. You can't downgrade your PS3 either without additional hardware like an E3 Flasher. To connect to the PSN you need 3.72 or later.
You can play backups but again you can't play any games that require newer firmware. 3.55 is the newest firmware you can use and basically any game made in the past few months requires 3.60 or higher. Modern Warfare 3 requires 3.72 for example, so you couldn't play it.
Jailbreaking lets you use backups and run some homebrew at the cost of online features, the ability to play the newest games, and sometimes Blu-ray playback support. It can't make your PS3 play PS2 games or anything.
Really jailbreaking isn't worth it for most users because it costs a lot of money and time to set up if you don't have a system that's at the requisite firmware, and it's not worth doing for just getting pirated games because you can't even play the newest games.

Sandra asks…
Does a ps3 jailbreak jailbreak one account on a ps3 or all?
I want to jailbreak my ps3 but i only want to jailbreak one of my accounts is that possible?
admin answers:
It jailbreaks the ps3 system

Sharon asks…
Whats with Sony fanboys and being so on edge when it comes to the PS3 jailbreak?
Everytime I look at questions concerning the PS3 jailbreak they get all up-tight and defensive. Start accusing those people of using it for nothing but piracy and blah blah blah. I don't notice people who answer questions concerning xbox 360 and wii homebrew getting very uptight!!!
What with most of the Sony fanboys and that? :/
admin answers:
Don't judge the responses of certain untalented individuals on this site as a reflection of the whole PS3 modding community. The PS3 homebrew scene is alive and well, and is very well respected. Ignore idiots like Allucard and the like.

Mandy asks…

You hack, you get sued/go to jail.
Under new terms of service agreement. If you hack the ps3, and go on the psn network, it will be spotted in a heartbeat and there will be a lawsuit at your door within days.

James asks…
Could you get cheats on a ps2 with a usb stick?
I have a ps2 and i want to know if there is some software out there that i can download and use to cheat in games like unlimited health, etc...
admin answers:
You would need to buy some sort of cheat disk, I suggest Action Replay they are fairly good.
Just pop the disk in, it will load like any PS2 disk:
Go to the cheat section
Pick the game you want to cheat at
Choose the cheats
Press start
Take out action replay disk, put in game disk
Press Start again
And it should load up with the cheats, any additional cheats can be found on the action replay website then you just type them in and activate them, its fairly simply as all the instructions are given on screen.

Your Questions About Xbox 360 Live

William asks…
How can you fix problems with Xbox 360 Live connection loss with a bridged connection?
My friend is having trouble with his Xbox 360 kicking him off of Xbox Live due to connection loss. His connection is a bridged connection from his PC to his Xbox 360. Thanks for your answers.
admin answers:
If there is a WiFI router involved, interference from other wireless devices using the same 900MHz -2.8GHZ frequency range will break the connection, like cordless phones, remotes, wireless gamepads..etc.
Ethernet bridging done incorrectly will cause packet collisions and loss of data routing.
A 4 port hub is less then $20...

Carol asks…
How many Microsoft Points does it take to have Xbox 360 Live for 1 year?
I might be getting an Xbox 360 and I was just wondering how many of the point things I need to get to play on Xbox Live.

me and my bro are trying to connect to xbox live and we're thinking that if we get a xbox 360 live gold card for regular xbox, it might not work.

It won't work. You need to get the XBX Live card if you want to use it on your XBX. The 360 Live time card only works for 360 XBL.

Sandra asks…
How to connect xbox 360 to xbox 360 live?
Im new to xbxo live so yes i am a newbie. I wanted to know what is the easiest way to connect your 360 to xbox live so i can play halo 3 multiplayer?
admin answers:
Well newbie. Its simple enough realy. Using your ethernet cable that came with your xbox connect this to your pc port. Then you need to go to your network connections on your pc and change settings so that internet connection is being shared. Make sure that the firewall allows the LAN to connect. Then test the settings on xbox. If IP fails then you have to tweak the settings. Good luck Halo3 rocks online

Your Questions About Video Games And Violence

Lisa asks…
What are good websites to look up Video game violence?
I’m doing a research paper on the effects of video games, and what may cause violence to arise in youths, its sort of a pro cons paper. Is there any good sites that specialize in something like that?
admin answers:
Gamefaqs.com
imdb.com
They give ratings like - M - Mature , E - Everyone , etc . And the reason ( eg. For excessive foul language , gore , etc )

Mark asks…
Do video games affect violence in teenagers and desensitize teenagers?
I would like your opinion in the main answer, but then in the sources, I want links that say that it does not affect teenagers.
Thanks for links to websites.
admin answers:
Well i don't have any links but you really can't trust studies because most are biased. What i can tell you is that i am a teenage gamer (at 15) and i listen to hip hop (but none of that i got money stuff... Real hip hop like Lupe Fiasco) and i have never ever EVER had intentions to hurt another human being other than self defense. I play GTA,RE,God of War,COD,Halo, etc... And i have never caused harm to a human being on purpose. I don't even want to hurt animals and i am very soical and i have an A-B grade avrage. I also love to play basketball and hang out with friends (actually i came back from a bday party) and i am respectable to women. I also have a loving family. Comic books used to get the blame in the 50s so it wouldn't be without this generation a scapegoat. Yes parents (not all) are lazy nowdays and they just don't care. Don't belive the news because it is very biased. Games are the scapegoat for faluty pareting and its a real shame that its happening. Poverty, neglect, abuse are the things that turn teens to violence. Violence is nothing new teens in Roman times used to partipate. Its only calmed down. I am smater and have more comproser than most teens and most of them aren't gamers. 72% of the U.S. Plays video games so if they made people crazy than 72% of the U.S. Would be crazy. Movies have more gorey stuff like Hostel and Saw and i don't hear any compaints and i saw Saw 3 in the theaters with out my parents. So no they do not. But kids under 10 or 11 in my opnion shouldn't be playing that stuff. Thats when the parenting gets in. They have to not buy it for them. The 360,PS3, and Wii all have parental controls which is rarely metioned. Not only that but the aveage gamer is 33 years old. So in my opinion no games do not cause teens to be violent cause if they did i would proubly be in alterintive school. Hoped i helped and articulated things.

Carol asks…
What constitutes as violence in video games?
my mom thinks that a game i have bought is too violent, but what is "too" violent and where should the "cut off" point be for violent video games, (its a 12 ) (yeah i know its embarrassing)
if there is shooting is it too violent "theres no blood, its just shooting"?
admin answers:
Gers ofwar 1 and2 hallo simpsons game grand theft auto spider man all sorts of fighting games realy oh and naruto bb

Richard asks…
Give me some articles that are against and defending the use of violence in video games?
Preferrably 2 of each.
And also, i need a link to the supreme court case dealing with the distribution of violent video games to minors and any prior cases that would be helpful.
Thank you!
admin answers:
All i can say for you is to look up what Hillary Clinton did to rock star with GTA:SA

Paul asks…
Does violence in video games really contribute to youth violence?
Some actually beg to differ, saying things like school shootings have more to do with stability and things done at home, also that it's about about'self control', but if the darn video games have the subliminal messages that say its alright to be violent, then what the hell?? you know?
I think video games do contribute to at least some the violence that happens alot nowadays. Kids honestly do play too many violent video games.
admin answers:
NO WAY.......Stupid people contribute to violence.

Your Questions About Nintendo 64

Lizzie asks…
How can I fix the joystick on a Nintendo 64 controller so that it works like new?
My Nintendo 64 controller's joystick is really lose and I wanted to tighten it up. Is there any way possible?
Thanks so much!
admin answers:
Well, it's really not an easy thing to do. Your best bet is to try and get a hold of an old controller and cannibalize it, but that might not work too well.
I have opened one up before (think it just uses small philips screws) and actually opened the joystick compartment, then tried to reset the innards (I did it by melting it back into position with a lighter, but glue is probably better). It tightened it up a bit, but it still wasn't ideal.
Unfortunately its just a casualty of the lower tech at the time. Great controller, but I'm glad analogue has evolved.
Good luck if you try it, and be very careful opening the joystick compartment - there's a spring in there that can fire out and get lost if you're not careful.

Susan asks…
What were your favourite Nintendo 64 Game/Games of all time?
Ive decided to buy a nintendo 64 for my birthday but ive only got one game and i want some opinions on the best games i should buy.
So,what were your favourite nintendo 64 game/games of all time?
admin answers:
You should buy "Donkey Kong 64" it's really addicting though it was so addicting my mom started playing it, she almost beat it to until someone accidentally deleted her account.(i'd rather not repeat what happened that day, she never was quite right after that) also another good thing is that it's a long game (it keeps you occupied for months.
The object of the game is to retrieve all 100 golden bananas that were stolen(which takes a long time)
i've never beaten it
another good game is "Golden Eye"(James Bond rocks)
and if you like racing games you might like "F Zero" and "Hydro Thunder"(hydro thunder is one of my top 5 favorite games of all time.
Hope you choose one of those games enjoy!!!

Donna asks…
How do I swap the guts of a Nintendo 64 into another case?
I have a regular Nintendo 64 that I want to take the guts out of and place into a Pikachu Nintendo 64 case. It seems like it would be pretty simple except the cheeks on the Pikachu light up when the system is on and I don't know what I would have to connect to do this. Could someone please give me a step by step answer?
admin answers:
The cheeks light up because there is LEDs in them which are like little tiny lights.
Installing these is very hard and I could give you a guide as to how.
Jake.

Sandy asks…
Nintendo 64?
I know this sounds nerdy but where in huntington beach, california (besides ebay and online) can i get nintendo 64 games?

GameStop and EBGames carry used N64 games from time to time.
Otherwise, flea markets, garage sales, stuff like that.

Thomas asks…
What Nintendo 64 Games had rabbits as the main character?
I played this game as a kid, and I distinctly remember it being a game where you played as a rabbit--At that time I believe all we had was a Nintendo 64, so that's most likely the console it was on. I don't remember much more about it except that you kind of jumped to different worlds from one sort of 'home' spot.
Any help figuring out what game this might be would be great!

Your Questions About Driving Video Games Xbox

Chris asks…
How can I play Xbox games on my PC?
My friend has an xbox and i have a virtual cd drive program (which lets you install a disc without having to put in the disc to use the software over and over again). My friend will let me borrow his xbox game if I can play it on my computer, and i'll give it back to him once it's in the virtual drive. I know it's possible because on www.jimmyr.com/mp3.php there is a video tutorial that explained the virtual drive, and he played a ps2 game on it. he wouldnt have been using an emulator rom because he was explaining a program that lets you install from a cd. if there is an emulator that lets me play an xbox disc than please let me know. don't tell me to find anything on a search engine, just give me a link or something.
thank you to anyone that actually helps!
admin answers:
Honestly, I would not recommend doing that to ur PC and I wouldn't trust a website or program to do such a thing. It may cause damages to certain parts of ur computer. If that happens, then ur computer is done. There are certain XBOX games that can play alongside PC games on XBOX Live and vice versa.
Each individual game has a certain format that can only be played on a console or PC. Console games are not meant to be played on a PC. That's why there has been a huge increase in console game titles going to PC as well. But if u think there's such an "emulator" that can do that then, it's all on u. But don't whine and cry when ur PC takes a dump for a program that is not meant to be on there.
Good luck to u. And no, I don't know of any links to such things cuz I like to keep my PC games and console games separate.... And working properly.

William asks…
Good Racing Video Games?
I own many racing games for PC, Playstation 2 and Xbox 360, games such as the Full midnight Club series and many Need For Speed games, Forza, Test drive Unlimited and many others.
I'm wondering why all the games are so limited, everytime i play one game it feels like the developers leave out key parts and its weaknesses are another games strengths and vise versa, For instance the Midnight Club Series has great customisable options, considerable better than the Need For Speed Series, though Need For Speed has much more realistic car handling. I'm wondering why the games produced by each series still have these problems and why can't a game be created that has great realism and customisation options. The car lists are usualy quite small considering all the racing games that have been released you'd think that they'd build upon it and expanding it. That was an example, its's hard to explain as i said.
I know you can just say "go make your own game then if you can do better" But i don't know why a racing game can't have a large car list, realistic car handling and feeling and have good customisation options?
A great racing game would most likely be online, you would have a great selection of cars, some you can purchase from the start, some you can buy when you progress through the game, some only if you say achieve a special score or do something unique. You'd start with an old "bomb" car, something like an old honda civic gl or a hyundai xcel and youd work your way up to the powerful supercars such as the Koenigsegg CCX or Saleen s7.
The game would have you enter as just a random person who wants to race, youd eventualy start making friends, enemies and throughout the game friends would become enemies and some enemies would become friends, people would betray you and you betray them. The game could have you racing in both legal motorsport and illegal street racing. Other modes such as drifting, drag, first to the point, cross country racing etc. Even some extreme things such as smashing up a car, somehow preventing an enemy from winning a race or stealing cars. You'd eventualy start racing the best people until you meet the best racer in the world, the perfect driver and they would have some realy fast, powerful car, it would be just you and them alone competeing for the title of the best and it would be almost impossible to beat them, but you would feel like you accomplished something great from beating them. Car customisation should be details down to trim on your car, colour of headlights, types of pedals, how pumped up your tyres are etc. and instead of the "level 2 upgrade" you should be able to install a custom flywheel and choose the brand (in accordance to the brands price and performance in real life) and choose how you want it installed. As said it should have a huge car list with regular downloadable content such as more cars and race courses, cars should include Classic, Import, Supercars, Luxury, Racing vehicles, Muscle cars, motorcycles, maybe even SUVS and off road vehicles, as well as concept ofcourse. Online racers could either join a server where you can cruise, race in an open world while other people drive around (during your race so you might crash into free roaming people as you race) or closed where you can only interact with people your racing.
So i'm sure this is the nerdiest and pointless thing ever written/typed but i'm sure it's not that hard for a company to actualy spend over 1 year making a game (even if it took 5 years) to make a game like this, it's not like it wouldn't be a success. I know there are things such as liscensing etc. but i'm sure thats a drop in the ocean for the money that they'd rake in. Also i don't think graphics matter, the graphics of Need For Speed Most Wanted are 2005 but they still look fine and i'm sure anyone could play with those, for anyone saying the graphics of the game would end up being outdated by the time it's released.
Thoughts etc. would be nice
admin answers:
*highfives* This is exactly what I want in a racing game too. Developers can short sighted and just do things the way they want to. All we can do is hope they'll make a game like the one you described some day. I know I'd love it. If I were you, I'd make several letters of the kinds of things you'd like in a game and send them to various developers, maybe one of them will listen.

Is there A way to backup xbox games without mod?
I want to have backups of my video games but I don't want to mod.
I have my games installed to my xbox but I still get worried something might happen to disk and not read it anymore. Is there a way that I can just have a DVD that has the title Of a game so that xbox knows I have a copy and then just play off the hard drive?
admin answers:
If you could, why would anybody mod and risk the ban?

Jecht69: Games such as "Heavy Rain" Move edition, and "RE5" move edition.
PS, Jecht, I dunno how to PM, don't suppose you could give me your msn address?
admin answers:
If you are talking about real actual games, ones that have been out before move, then the move controller is only optional. You can still use a normal controller if you want to.
Which game are you talking about exactly?
Those games work with a normal controller. I have the RE5 move edition and i don't even have move and still play it lol. Btw, I think if you got a normal edition, you would be able to update it to support move anyway.

Can a USB Flash drive be used to move saved games/files from one PS3 to another?
I am just curious if it is possible, and if it is how, does one use a USB Flash drive to move saved game files from one PS3 to another. Files such as Madden rosters, draft classes, etc.
I thought i read somewhere that you need to make some default directories on the root of the flash drive so that the ps3 can read it?
admin answers:
Just put the flash drive in to ps3 and got to game save press triangle then select save it will ask you to dave on drive and that's it

William asks…
Which should I buy, PlayStation Move or some games for PS3?
I'm thinking of getting the Sports Champions Bundle (Not the PS3 Move bundle)
But I'm also thinking about getting some cheap games (But I haven't even put White Knight Chronicles (International Edition) down yet; still playing WWE smackdown vs raw 2010, and more...)
(Anyway, anyone have a PS3 & PSN, add me...if you want...

does the ps3 move games come with system software version 3.4 or above? I'm not setup to go on the internet to?
admin answers:
Yes of course. Plus, newest games won't run on system firmware other than 3.41. Go to wherever you can access the internet and go to: playstation.com (choose your region) and then download the firmware to your USB stick and then install it to your PS3.

1. Make sure your DSi is connected to the internet.
2. Go to the DSi shop (one of the channels in the main menu)
3. When it loads, click on the 'Free' DSi Ware filter.
4. You should see Flipnote Studio and Web Browser there.
5. Download the Web Browser again.
6. There you go! It's back!

John asks…
How do fix this message my nintendo dsi is giving me?
I just recently bought a Nintendo DSi and this message is being displayed when i turn it on:
"An error occurred. Press and hold
POWER to turn the system off,
then follow the instructions in
the system’s Operations Manual."
It is currently charging because i figured that was the problem and i'll see when it is done. Or is it something else? What should i do?
admin answers:
You can get that message when you try to use a pirated or cloned DS cartridge in a DSi
(the cartridge itself will work on a DS or DS-lite, but not a DSi)
any chance that's the problem here? Try popping the game cartridge out and see what your DSi does when you turn it on. If it starts normally, you know it's the game cartridge. =)

William asks…
How do I connect internet to the nintendo dsi?
So i have a nintendo dsi and i haven't connected to the internet because i have no clue on how. I have a desktop computer with modem connection. How do i connect my dsi to get internet connections. I have no idea please go step by step.
admin answers:
1
You must either have broadband internet access and a wireless router or you can connect your Nintendo DSi at a hotspot, such as a library or coffee shop that offers internet access. Make sure you are in a location mentioned above before going to step 2.
2
Turn on your Nintendo DSi and click on the wrench icon. This will take you to the system settings.
3
Go to page 3 and select "Internet".
4
Click "Connection Settings".
5
Click "None" to the right of "Connection 1".
6
Click "Search for an Access Point".
7
Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected.
8
If you are planning on playing games online with your Nintendo DSi and have WPA security, you will have to set your router to WEP security.
To do this, get back to the "Connection Settings" screen mentioned in step 4.
Click "Advanced Setup".
Click any button that says "none".
Click "Search for an Access Point".
Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected.
-Frank. Cheers! Hope that works. I had the same problem Bye:)

Paul asks…
Can i connect my nintendo DSi to the internet at hotspots such as mcdonalds?

You can generally connect from any wi-fi hotspot. Many restaurants, hotels, airports, coffee shops, etc., offer free wi-fi these days.
Follow these easy steps to connect at a hot-spot:

Your Questions About Xbox 360 Games

Laura asks…
Why does the picture go blurry when I play old Xbox games on Xbox 360?
I have a 32" flat screen LCD HDTV. When I play Xbox 360 games it works just fine, but when I put in a old regular Xbox game and play it, the picture gets blurry. I mean I have picture and sound and stuff but it's like its blurry, like if you hit your head and sees double. This happens with all games that are for the old Xbox. What should I do, have anybody had this problem?
admin answers:
Well, since it is an original Xbox game, they say it will NOT work perfectly on an Xbox 360. Most Original Xbox games work almost perfectly on xbox 360 and some don't. Sorry.

Lizzie asks…
Why do my xbox 360 games not work for my pc?
my computer is made by microsoft and the xbox games are made by microsoft, but nothing ever plays. i would play them on my 360 but my power cord is broken. help anyone
admin answers:
XBOX360 games are coded exclusively for the Xbox, they'll only work for the system they're designed to work on. Microsoft does make windows, but they chose to not make the 360 compatible with windows (mainly because they'd then have to support every single piece of hardware on the market, and that would reduce the quality of the games). You should be able to pick up a new power cord though, try that.

James asks…
Does carrying Xbox games in your xbox 360 damage the games?
My friends and i are having an argument over whether or not carrying your Xbox 360 games in your Xbox 360 damages your games. i think it does, since ive had it happen (or think it happened). They say it doesnt. Help us out?
admin answers:
Sorry Sameh, even if it is off, it can still damage the disc. I've moved my Xbox 360 with my copy of Halo 3 in it when it first came out, and the game for some unapparent reason got lodged inside the disc tray. When I plugged it back in and turned it on the was a horrible grinding noise and my disc was ruined. So technically it wasn't the moving, but the consequence of moving it lol.

Charles asks…
Can the new Xbox 360 250GB play old Xbox games?
Can the new Xbox, the Xbox Slim, play old Xbox games? Like the very first Xbox games, not 360. From the original Xbox, the huge one, the big black box called the Xbox. NOT the 360 games, the very first Xbox games. People do not read this, I am trying to make sure you fully understand my question
admin answers:
Yes, it will support the same list as the current backwards compatable (original) XBOX.
In fact, a few more titles continue to trickle down either indirectly (via ARCADE download) or directly as another game engine is reworked for use with the XBOX 360 (SLIM). There's a nifty list of games on Wiki.
Good Luck

Steven asks…
