There are numerous video driving games available for the PC, some better, of course than others. One such game is Porsche Unleashed. In this game every car is a Porsche that has incredible handling, and is a favorite in the Need for Speed series. Another popular PC based game is Underground. In this game the customizable car locks and the storyline that keeps the driver in the hot seat.

Another PC based video game is Live for Speed is an exciting game simply because of the atmosphere of the game. It can be played offline by yourself. This is great for setting up your car and practice but it is really fun online as the racing is way more exciting when you have real people to play against. Also, the features and graphics of this are excellent and have tight packed racing and realistic pit stops.

One of the better games offered for the PC is Test Drive Unlimited. In this game you really live in the racing world. You begin by buying a car and a house. Next you drive around an island, which is modeled after a real Hawaiian island and look for real players to race against and earn cash from. This game is played primarily online and features some terrific great cars such as the classic AC Cobra and the GT40. There is simply nothing quite like cruising around while really looking for a race.
One of the best driving games that can be played on a PC is GTR2. This is a very intense racing game. With this game you swear, scream, and sweat all in a single lap. When playing this game you will often find yourself more engrossed in the racing world than when playing any other game. You also have your choice of tracks and cars.

The absolute best of the best of the PC driving games is Dirt. This game isn’t just WRC. There is motocross, go karts, and truck racing, go carts at national rally level. The player starts off with some rather lame cars like the Clio but they really do go around corners. The driving experience you receive as you spin wildly, squeeze through a gate or barely slide along the edge of a culvert while the sound of crunching metal and shattering glass rings in your ears will amaze you.
